SLEEPING MATTRESSES
Mattresses for children, teenagers, and adults
At Lano Furniture, you will find a wide selection of mattresses: foam, spring, latex, and coconut, in dozens of firmness, thickness, and size variants — for children's, bunk, and bedroom beds. The fastest way to choose a mattress is by bed size, and then by the type of filling and firmness. Below you will find both filters and a table that will suggest which type is best for you.
Choose a mattress by size
The size of the mattress must match the internal dimensions of the bed frame — you can check this in your model's description. Each size has a separate subpage with a full list of available mattresses:
Do you sleep in a non-standard sized bed? The full list of sizes — from baby mattresses to adult models — can be found in the filters above the product list.
Which mattress type is right for you?
| Mattress type | Who is it best for |
| Foam mattresses | A universal choice for children's and bunk beds. Highly elastic foam adapts to the body and is breathable. Example model: MAJORKA 80x200 (latex-foam) |
| Thermoelastic mattresses | For people who want point-specific support — the thermoelastic layer adapts exactly where the body needs it. Example model: FITTED 80x170 (aloe vera with visco foam) |
| Pocket spring mattresses | For couples and restless sleepers — each spring works in a separate pocket, so the movements of the other person are unnoticeable. Example model: BLOOM 80x180 (pocket spring with latex) |
| Bonnell spring mattresses | A springy classic recommended for single beds — including bunk and children's beds. Example model: ASTI 100x190 (bonnell, coconut-latex) |
| Orthopaedic mattresses | Firm and medium-firm models for people who need stable spinal support. For health issues, consult your choice with a doctor or physiotherapist. Example model: PRADA 150x190 (pocket spring, 7 comfort zones) |
| Premium mattresses | For the demanding — extensive layer systems, including latex, foams, and minipocket springs in one mattress. Example model: ELON 90x200 (multipocket spring) |
What to look for when choosing?
- Size — matched to the internal dimensions of the bed frame, without gaps or bulges.
- Firmness — selected according to the weight and preferences of the sleeper; some models are double-sided with different firmness on each side.
- Thickness — in our offer from 8 to 19 cm; for bunk beds and beds with safety rails, check what mattress height is recommended in the bed's description.
- Filling type — foam, springs, latex, coconut, or combinations thereof; a detailed layer arrangement can be found on each product page.
The cover: a small detail that makes a big difference
Spilled drinks, snack crumbs, or nighttime accidents are an everyday occurrence in a child's room. A cover that can be removed and machine washed (usually at up to 60°C) allows you to quickly restore the mattress's freshness.
Cover fabrics are selected to be breathable and not irritate a child's delicate skin. This is particularly important for allergies and the sensitive skin of the youngest.
Our covers not only look nice but also add softness to the sleeping surface, easing the child's body's first contact with the mattress.
Materials and hygiene
In our mattresses, we combine highly elastic polyurethane foam, thermoelastic foam, natural latex, coconut fibre, as well as bonnell and pocket springs. Latex and coconut are hypoallergenic materials — a good choice for allergy sufferers and people with sensitive skin.
Breathable covers support airflow during sleep. You can machine wash the removable cover at a minimum of 60°C — you can check if a given model has this option on its product page.

Frequently asked questions about mattresses
What size mattress should I choose for a child's bed?
The same as the internal dimensions of the bed frame — you will find it in the model's description. The most frequently chosen sizes for children's and bunk beds are 80x180, 90x180, 80x190, and 90x190 cm; each has a separate subpage with a full list of mattresses.
Which mattress for a bunk bed?
First of all, the thickness recommended in the bed's description — a mattress that is too high on the top bunk lowers the safety rail. Lighter foam and bonnell models work well. A full overview can be found in the guide How to choose a mattress.
What mattress thickness to choose for a child?
We offer mattresses with a thickness from 8 to 19 cm. Thinner models work well in beds with safety rails and on the top bunks of bunk beds, thicker ones — in classic children's and youth beds. You can browse all variants categorised by mattresses by thickness.
